Office-Based Physicians Contribute More Than Health Care to the Economy

In a recent study conducted by the American Medical Association, the economic impact of office-based physicians was examined.  It was found that office-based physicians contribute more than $1 trillion and provide four million jobs on a national level.  The AMA website offers highlights by state as well as national reporting.
