Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Work Alongside Physicians

A recent article in American Medical News highlights findings from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics’ August data brief which reported that about half of physicians working in offices employ nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants.
